How to use the Prospecting Chrome Extension

The Prospecting Chrome Extension is easy to use.

• Simply add the Extension to your Chrome browser by clicking this link: Add Chrome Extension
• Select the new icon added to your Extension tool bar
• Log in with your MediaRails account
• Once you find a potential prospect when browsing the internet, click on the extension icon on the top right side of your browser and fill in their info. Click "Create" and it's in your Prospecting list in Mediarails under Source: "WebExtension"

Tip: Once in the prospecting work-space in Mediarails, add the column for Created At and click twice to bring your latest prospects to the top of your list for review. Or add a filter for Source is WebExtension.

Check back the next day to see if the system was able to bring back any contact info along with the other enhancements. 

*Note on Errors: there are only two reasons you will receive an error when trying to add sites via the Chrome Extension:

1. The site is already in your Mediarails Prospect section
2. The name goes beyond the visible field; rename the site so the entire name fits within the Name field.
